Pansy purse & Birthday Giveaway


A progressive pansy display, growth in the garden of colour.
I managed to make this  up today in the midst of packing but I was ever so desirous to finish it. it really didn't take that long once all the embroidery was done.
I used Kaffe Fassett material on the back - I love those big bold blooms. And inside I actually was given a scrap of curtain material of which I quite liked the foliage of.
So here are the progressive shots from where I left off from the last blog post.

As you may know I am off the Bale for R&R with my two sisters to celebrate my 50th.

    Oh my goodness, Monique.....Wow oh Wow!! 'Tis truly the most gorgeous purse EVER!! Those pretty li'l pansy faces are just filled with glorious colour and floral-filled delight...and the Kaffe Fasset fabric...well 'tis the perfect finishing touch!! Now go!! Go and have oodles of R&R in Bali!!

    Wow! What a wonderful purse! It was promising a couple of days ago, but this is really super. It gives recycling a whole different meaning. Have a great time on Bali with your sisters.

      thanks marly, I really enjoyed making the purse and am intent on recycling the rest of the material...I should get quite a few purses out of that!
